A Little About Us
The Griffin-Crescent Alumni Chapter of Albany State University originated March, 1989 in Griffin, Georgia with the goal to organize graduates of Albany State to provide financial support of ASU and promote the recruitment of quality students from the area.
The chapter includes ASU alumni from Griffin (Spalding County) but also Fayette, Henry, Clayton, South Fulton, Coweta, Douglas, Lamar, and parts of DeKalb County.
We enable members to maintain connections with fellow graduates and serves as a value source/point of contact for information about Albany State University. Currently chapter membership is opened to spouses, parents, and friends interested in supporting Albany State University.

Scholarship
The Griffin Crescent Alumni chapter has been providing scholarships to local Albany State Students in the Griffin and Metro Atlanta area since 1992.
Each year the Griffin-Crescent Alumni chapter awards two scholarships to current ASU students or graduating seniors with accepted admission to Albany State University and live in the Griffin and Metro Atlanta areas.

Membership
Our chapter is registered with the Albany State University National Alumni Association. Alumni, faculty members, students, parents of students or of alumni, and other loyal friends of Albany State are eligible for chapter membership.
Annual Membership dues are $200.00 $75.00 go to National Alumni Association $125.00 go to the Griffin-Crescent Alumni Chapter The Albany State National Alumni Association offers
Lifetime Alumni Membership for a fee of $1,000.00 If you are interested in membership or responding to an invitation, please request and complete the membership request form.
